Unidentified Jane Doe - september 15, 2024 - Los Angeles (USA)

On the morning of September 15, 2024, a tragic accident occurred on the northbound side of the I-5 Freeway, just north of Whittier Boulevard in Los Angeles. A young woman was struck by a vehicle while walking, and the impact was so severe that she died at the scene.

Her age was estimated to be between 18 and 28 years old. She had fair skin, short brownish-red hair, hazel eyes, and freckles all over her body. Her height was estimated to be between 4'8" and 5'2" (142–157 cm).

Her possible name may have been Kaitlin Taylor, and she may have gone by the nickname "Ets" or "Etts".

At the time of the incident, she was wearing the following clothing:

  • A navy blue Reebok sweatshirt, size 3XL

  • A teal tie-dye T-shirt with the logo “The Unholy Trinity – A Saint Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl” by Next Level, size Small

  • A black bracelet, size Small

  • Black Dickies 874 work pants, size 28x30

  • White and blue Nike tennis shoes, size 3Y (youth size)

  • Black ankle socks with the brand name “USA”

She was also wearing several pieces of jewelry:

  • A Y/M necklace

  • A white beaded bracelet

  • A green fabric bracelet with a metal charm

  • A W/M ring with a unicorn design

  • A W/M ring with a large clear stone

  • Another W/M ring

  • A gray metal ring

  • A Y/M ring with multiple clear stones

  • A copper-colored ring with a turquoise stone

  • Multiple hair ties worn as bracelets

Despite several media appeals, no one has come forward to identify her. She remains an unidentified decedent.

The international nonprofit organization Stichting Coldcasezaken has created a facial reconstruction in an effort to make her recognizable — hoping someone will recognize her and help return her identity.
